// ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING · SOFTWARE · CONSULTING

Additive Manufacturing
as a strategic asset.

We bring additive manufacturing into industrial production. That means strategy, our own MES software, and support that stays with you from the first analysis through to day-to-day operation.

On-Premise
// THREE PILLARS

Your partner for strategic process innovation.

Software, consulting and operational execution from one team, with one goal: additive manufacturing that pays off in your plant.

Strategy · Workshop · Roadmap

Consulting

Strategic process consulting that runs from potential analysis through the business case to a finished roadmap. We work out whether additive manufacturing pays off in your operation, how, and at what return.

  • Make-or-buy analyses
  • Technology selection
  • Economic viability assessment
Software · MES · Integration

Implementation

Process development and commissioning. We set up your MES, integrate the printers and connect your ERP. What you get works on the shop floor, not just in a slide deck.

  • leanAM MES on-premise
  • Vendor-independent printer connectivity, without cloud
  • ERP/CAQ integration
Service · Contract manufacturing · Pilot runs

B2B Services

Print services, contract manufacturing and pilot runs on our own machines. We scale with you from single applications to small-batch production and take on the peaks when your own capacity runs short. Once the line is up, the service and support carry on.

  • Service & support beyond the setup
  • Print services & prototypes
  • Small-batch production
  • Material qualification and hardware qualification
// WHY LEANAM

We are practitioners — not just consultants.

01

Over 14 years of AM experience

From fundamental research to process-reliable series production.

02

On-premise instead of forced cloud

Your manufacturing data never leaves your plant — even across multiple sites.

03

Made in Germany

Development, support and consulting from Germany. Operations with full data sovereignty.

04

Industry experience

Medical technology, aerospace, interior, teaching & research — we deliver what the industry demands.

05

Strategy & operations

From business case to machine — and we close the gap in between.

06

Interface expertise

We mediate between IT, production and management when AM projects get stuck between worlds.

07

Focused on scaling

// OUR PROCESS

From the first analysis to a scaling AM line.

Four phases, each with defined deliverables, from the first conversation to series production. You always know where the project stands.

  1. PHASE_01 1–2 weeks

    Analysis

    We review your part portfolio, your volumes and requirements, then identify the use cases with the strongest business case.

    • Part screening
    • Use-case matrix
    • Business case
  2. PHASE_02 3–6 weeks

    Concept

    We pick the right technology, materials and machines, then design the process layout, IT architecture and business case.

    • Technology & material selection
    • Process & IT layout
    • Investment planning
  3. PHASE_03 8–16 weeks

    Implementation

    We commission the hardware, roll out the leanAM software, hook it into ERP/CAQ and train your team on site.

    • Hardware commissioning
    • Software & ERP/CAQ
    • Team enablement
  4. PHASE_04 ongoing

    Scaling

    We stay on through ramp-up, tune the KPIs and, if you want, take on peak loads as a B2B service.

    • KPI tuning
    • Ramp-up support
    • B2B overflow optional
// FREQUENT QUESTIONS

FAQ

Answers to the questions we are asked most often, from licensing model to data sovereignty.

leanAM MES runs exclusively on-premise — at your facility. No cloud, no subscription, no external data storage. You retain full data sovereignty, including in regulated industries.
Yes. leanAM MES supports several ways of controlling machines directly on the local network, without an external cloud and without mandatory accounts. Print data stays entirely within your infrastructure. Whether and to what extent your production environment can be supported is something we can review in a conversation. Feel free to get in touch with us.
Our focus areas are medical technology, aerospace, the interior industry and universities. Beyond that, we serve mid-sized manufacturers in mechanical and plant engineering.
The initial consultation is free of charge and non-binding. In 30 minutes we clarify whether your use case matches our strengths, and you get an honest assessment.
That is exactly why we developed our "AM Interface Advisory" service. We mediate between the stakeholders as a neutral technical authority, make points of conflict visible and jointly develop workable governance rules.
Yes. We offer standard connectors for common ERP and CAQ systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, ProAlpha) as well as generic interfaces via REST, OPC UA and MQTT.
