The A1 (and the smaller A1 mini) is Bambu Lab's open entry-level printer — affordable, simple, AMS-lite capable. Here too the cloud can be switched off. Here's how to run the A1 in LAN-Only mode.

The A1 is an open bed-slinger designed for ease of use; AMS lite enables multi-material printing. In LAN-Only mode the printer runs purely locally — printing and monitoring happen via the slicer on your own network.
Because many A1 users value the convenient Handy app, the loss of convenience is most noticeable here: remote access from outside the network and app control drop out in LAN-Only mode. Printing on your own network remains fully possible.

LAN-Only mode solves cloud-free operation per device. For multiple printers in production you need central job, material, user and reporting management — data-sovereign, in house. That is exactly what leanAM MES adds as an on-premise system, across manufacturers and without cloud lock-in.
