What to keep in mind for the P2S in LAN-Only mode.

The P2S is enclosed, AMS-capable and built for productive continuous operation and technical materials. In LAN-Only mode it runs purely locally: printing and monitoring happen via the slicer on your own network, and the cloud-bound convenience services drop out.

Precisely because the P2S is often used in small print farms, LAN-Only mode is interesting here — it keeps production data in house. The exact feature set is determined by the installed firmware.

Enable LAN-Only mode — in brief

On the printer display: Settings → General → LAN-Only mode, then confirm.
The printer shows an access code and its local IP address.
In your slicer (Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer), add the printer via IP and access code.
Or print via microSD card with no network at all.

The exact menu wording may vary depending on firmware version.

Yes. The P2S supports LAN-Only mode and then operates exclusively on the local network. You print via Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer on the same network or via microSD card. Cloud convenience features such as remote access from outside drop out.

Is the P2S suitable for a print farm without the cloud?
